Just a few notes before heading to Africa.
Won’t reveal my plans yet but it’s the only prospect I have right now.
I recall the story of a Spanish Conquistador burning his ships when landing in the new world to motivate his men.
Just food for thought
No Retreat
Whatever you’re up to on your next journey, good luck!!!

There’s nothing to be scared of. Places are made of people. And African people are generous. That’s no generalization but a fact, whatever country in Africa you are travelling to. 🙂 Stay safe and have fun!

I suppose fear comes from doing something radically different from what you are used to. I’m sure the African people as a whole are a fine people which I’m going to experience first hand now

Best of luck to you. Fortune favors the bold. We have one life and sometimes we have to make tough choices.

I like that saying, “fortune favors the bold” sometimes in life you need to take things and not wait for a handout

You’ll love it. Africa is the cradle of civilization. I was in Rwanda for a month in 2006. I traveled all throughout many villages. The airlines were sketchy, but it was a great trip. Great people and the food was good. Alot of potatoes and gravy, goat meat and gravy. Enjoy yourself and be safe. Even then I carried hand sanitizer with me and used it regularly.
