That bad scratch I got last Monday got infected, which in hindsight seems quite obvious. The wound got bigger and bigger by the day and felt consistently painful and raw. At the urging of the Thai teachers in my school, I want to go see a doctor in s private hospital called Vibhavadi Hospital. The service was decent and got the job done, though nothing worth writing home about. My insurance covered it so I paid 55 baht (2 USD) round trip for a taxi, 120 baht (4 USD) for the doctor and 135 baht (4.5 USD) for the medicine. I got perscribed and it’s under control now.
Life Lesson: If you don’t take care of a small problem, you risk it becoming a big problem.
On another note, I received some cookies from one of my students, Level, that I volunteered to tutor. This is something I was never able to do. The fact that a twelve year old is sfkr to show appreciation to the extra mile In going warms my heart and encourages me to keep going.
