Phnom Penh, Cambodia
I arrived in Phnom Penh Cambodia yesterday. Overall it feels like a much less developed country than Thailand, the roads aren’t as walkable, there are occasional piles of trash on sidewalks and it feels less modern than Bangkok.
The hotel I’m staying at is cheaper, that is true but most of the packaged foods I’ve seen as well as department store goods are imported, leading to higher prices. The weather itself is bearable, though I do mice the convenience of 711’s to run into to borrow there AC to cool off.
I’m also here in this city for 6 nights which I have now discovered feels like more than I need to sightsee the Cambodian capital city. No matter though, I plan to hit all the sights I want to see, then I’ll work on my book.
